How Do I Transfer My Domain Name To FiwiWeb?

To transfer your domain to FiwiWeb, your domain need to meet the following requirements:


  • The domain name is older than 60 days
  • You have obtained the EPP/Authorization key from the current registrar
  • The domain is not locked
  • The Administrative Contact for the domain is up-to-date and has an email address you have access to
  • You do not have Domain Privacy enabled
  • The domain is not expired


Once the above requirements are met, you can submit a transfer order 

Note:

Once you submit your domain transfer order an email will be sent to the administrative contact with a link to continue the transfer.

After clicking the link the old registrar has five (5) days to release the domain to us.


Most registrar will either approve the transfer automatically or allow you to approve the transfer immediately, others will have you wait the full five days before completing the transfer. Check with your registrar what their policies are.
